Don't chase applause, create momentum. Live it, implement it and achieve sustainable results.

Your Consultants & Interim Managers:

Slim Mammou studied at the National Engineers School of Tunis (ENIT) in Tunisia and successfully obtained his master's degree in industrial engineering.

He began his career as a Lean Implementer in the manufacture of electronic automotive components at Johnson Controls in Bir El Bey/Tunisia, resp. Visteon following its acquisition in 2014. Thanks to his measurable successes, he quickly rose to become a Lean Manager with comprehensive leadership responsibilities. For example, he led the implementation of a Kanban system between surface-mounted devices (SMDs) and production lines, which reduced inventory by 43% while significantly improving production flow and responsiveness. Furthermore, he was able to increase equipment availability by 11% and significantly reduce unplanned downtime by introducing a Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) programme. Since then, he has been a certified Lean Implementer Coach and has conducted numerous training courses and workshops on lean management and the associated change in the way of thinking and acting of all those involved.

Slim Mammou took on his next challenge as Continuous Improvement Manager at Autoliv in Fahs and Nadhour/Tunisia. There, he led continuous improvement teams at two production sites and several specific project teams. He implemented large-scale operational improvements, such as the implementation of Leading2Lean (L2L) as well as the creation of real-time Power BI dashboards, and led strategic initiatives, such as a plant relocation with process redesign. Under his leadership, costs were reduced, performance was increased and Lean was deeply embedded in the corporate culture.

For several years, Slim Mammou has been a consultant for lean management and continuous improvement (CI) as well as a lean coach. He supports both regional manufacturers and global corporations in finding solutions for specific tasks, from the comprehensive introduction of lean concepts to the development and implementation of tailor-made programmes and coaching for cultural change among employees. To date, he has led over 60 Kaizen and improvement workshops, implemented systems such as TPM, 5S, SMED, Kanban and VSM, as well as introduced daily management routines that continue to deliver added value long after his involvement.

Clients appreciate him for his clarity, his composure under pressure and his ability to turn resistance into commitment. He finds the right words for every situation, whether talking to production staff, managers or the senior management. He can get everyone on the same page and always displays the same energy and determination, which builds trust and delivers results.

Slim Mammou not only teaches Lean, he lives it and puts it into practice. He does not chase applause, but creates momentum and sustainable results.
