PRIVACY POLICY

1. General information

Discretion and confidentiality form the basis of our consulting philosophy. INSECOGO® Worldwide Search & Executive Consultants GmbH attaches the highest importance to the protection of your privacy as a user. This applies in particular to the processing of personal data. By personal data we mean all data relating to the personal and factual circumstances of a natural person. It is not necessary to disclose personal data in order to use our website. In certain cases, however, we do need your name and address as well as other information so that we can process your request. If this is necessary, we will inform you accordingly. Furthermore, we only store and process data that you provide us voluntarily or automatically.

Our website is operated in accordance with the laws on data protection and data security. The web server only stores pseudonymous data about access to our website. These data are without any concrete personal reference and are used to optimize our web presence.

Compliance with data protection is a matter of course for us. The technical and organisational measures we take to comply with data protection laws are regularly checked by an external, independent service provider and continuously adapted to changing conditions and standards.

2. Collection and processing

2.1. Access

We do not collect any personal data when you use the website anonymously, i.e. when you do not log in, register or provide us with any other information. We only store or log data transmitted by your browser when you access our website and when you retrieve files stored on the website. These automatically transmitted data are:

  •
  • Browser type and browser version
  • Operating system used
  • Referrer URL
  • Host name of the accessing computer
  • Time of the server request
  • IP address

The web server logs are processed exclusively for security purposes. This data is not merged with other data sources.

The basis for data processing is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b DSGVO, which permits the processing of data for the fulfilment of a contract or pre-contractual measures. Further personal data is only collected if you provide this information voluntarily, for example in the context of an inquiry or registration.

2.2. Contact form

If you send us enquiries via the contact form, your details from the enquiry form, including the contact data you provide there, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the enquiry and in the event of follow-up questions. We will not pass on this data without your consent.

The processing of the data entered in the contact form is therefore exclusively based on your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO). You can revoke this consent at any time. For this purpose, an informal notification by e-mail to us is sufficient. The legality of the data processing procedures carried out up to the time of revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.

The data entered by you in the contact form will remain with us until you request us to delete it, revoke your consent for storage or the purpose for which the data was stored ceases to apply (e.g. after your request has been processed). Mandatory legal provisions - in particular retention periods - remain unaffected.

2.3. Registration on this website

You can register on our website to use additional features on the site. We will use the data entered for this purpose only for the purpose of using the respective offer or service for which you have registered. The mandatory data requested during registration must be provided in full. Otherwise we will refuse the registration.

In the event of important changes, such as changes to the scope of the offer or technically necessary changes, we will use the e-mail address provided during registration to inform you in this way.

The processing of the data entered during registration is based on your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO). You can revoke any consent you have given at any time. For this purpose, an informal notification by e-mail to us is sufficient. The legality of the data processing already carried out remains unaffected by the revocation.

2.4. Mailings

Information from the INSECOGO® world of topics on products and services, news and events will be sent to you by e-mail,

  • if you have informed us of your express wish by clicking on the corresponding order field, or
  • if we have received your e-mail address via registration for an event, download of further information or another download

You can informally object to the sending of mailings at any time, e.g. by e-mail to privacy@insecogo.com. In addition, you have the option in each mailing to unsubscribe from the recipient list via a link.

3. Use and dissemination

Personal data will only be used to answer your questions, to process your search for a specialist or management position, to process your orders (e.g. when registering for a seminar), and for internal compilation of anonymous statistics. The personal data you disclose will be treated confidentially by us and will only be passed on to third parties if this is necessary for order processing in your interest, such as the transfer of order data to suppliers. The only exceptions are services requested by you, which include consent to the use of your further data, and the transfer of your data to state institutions and authorities by law. Under no circumstances will we rent or sell your personal data or data relating to you to third parties for their use.

As far as we advertise for other companies on our internet pages, we mark these advertisements. In its judgement of 12 May 1998, "Liability for Links" (312 O 85/98), the Regional Court of Hamburg clearly ruled that by placing a link on your website you may be jointly responsible for the contents of the linked page, i.e. you may be held liable; this can only be prevented by expressly distancing yourself from these contents, which INSECOGO® Worldwide Search & Executive Consultants GmbH hereby does. INSECOGO® Worldwide Search & Executive Consultants GmbH will not pass on any data to non-EU countries without your consent, unless it is necessary for the business transaction and expressly permitted by the DSGVO.

4. Right of information and right of objection

If consent to the use of your personal data was required, you can revoke it at any time by sending a letter to INSECOGO® Worldwide Search & Executive Consultants GmbH, Management, Ketzberger Straße 45, D-42653 Solingen-Gräfrath, Germany, or by e-mail to privacy@insecogo.com.

5. Right to data transferability

You have the right to have data that we process automatically on the basis of your consent or in fulfilment of a contract handed over to you or to a third party in a common, machine-readable format. If you request the direct transfer of the data to another responsible party, this will only take place to the extent that it is technically feasible.

6. Deletion of personal data

Stored personal data will be deleted if the user of the website and/or customer revokes the consent to storage, if their knowledge is no longer required to fulfil the purpose pursued with the storage or if their storage is not permitted for other legal reasons. Data for accounting and bookkeeping purposes are not affected by this.

7. Analysis tools, third-party tools and plugins

INSECOGO® uses analysis tools, third-party tools and uses functions of various social networks ("social plugins") or reserves the right to use them in the future.

7.1. Google Analytics

This website uses functions of the web analysis service Google Analytics. The provider is Google Inc, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.

Google Analytics uses so-called "cookies". These are text files which are stored on your computer and which enable an analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there.

The storage of Google Analytics cookies is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the analysis of user behaviour in order to optimise both his website and his advertising.

IP Anonymisation

We have activated the IP anonymization function on this website. As a result, your IP address is shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area before it is transmitted to the USA. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transferred to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on the website activities and to provide further services to the website operator in connection with the use of the website and the Internet. The IP address transmitted by your browser within the scope of Google Analytics is not merged with other Google data.

Order data processing

We have concluded a contract with Google for commissioned data processing and fully implement the strict requirements of the German data protection authorities when using Google Analytics.

Demographic characteristics in Google Analytics

This website uses the "demographic features" function of Google Analytics. This allows us to generate reports that contain information about the age, gender and interests of the site visitors. This data comes from interest-based advertising by Google and from visitor data from third parties. This data cannot be assigned to a specific person. You can disable this feature at any time by visiting your Google Account's ad settings.

7.2. LinkedIn

Our website uses features of the LinkedIn network. The provider is LinkedIn Corporation, 2029 Stierlin Court, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. Each time you access any of our pages that contain LinkedIn features, a connection is made to LinkedIn's servers. LinkedIn is notified that you have visited our sites using your IP address. When you click on LinkedIn's "Recommend" button and are logged into your LinkedIn account, LinkedIn is able to track your visit to our site to you and your account. We would like to point out that we, as the provider of these pages, have no knowledge of the content of the transmitted data or its use by LinkedIn.

For further information, please refer to the LinkedIn privacy policy at: www.linkedin.com/legal/privacy-policy

7.3. XING

Our website uses functions of the network XING. The provider is XING AG, Dammtorstraße 29-32, D-20354 Hamburg, Germany. Each time one of our pages containing XING functions is called up, a connection is established to XING servers. To the best of our knowledge, no personal data is stored. In particular, no IP addresses are stored or usage behavior is evaluated.

Further information on data protection and the XING Share button can be found in the XING privacy statement at privacy.xing.com/de/datenschutzerklaerung and www.xing.com/app/share.

8. Cookies

We use cookies to improve our offer. These are small data packages which are temporarily stored on your hard disk and enable your identification. Cookies collect data on the use of our website in an anonymous form; no conclusions about your person are permitted. In this way, we can ensure a high degree of user-friendliness. Cookies also help us to identify the most frequently used offers on our website. You can also generally prevent the storage of cookies in your browser by adjusting your browser software accordingly; however, we would like to point out that in this case you may not be able to use all the functions of this website to their full extent.

9. SSL encryption

This site uses SSL encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as the requests you send to us. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the lock symbol in the browser line and by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from "http://" to "https://". If SSL encryption is activated, the data you send to us cannot be read by third parties.

10. Data protection for applicants

CVs or other data that you want to send or have sent to us in the context of an application will be stored and used on the server of INSECOGO® Worldwide Search & Executive Consultants GmbH. The data will be compared with the requirement profiles of the vacant positions of our clients exclusively for the purpose of filling the vacancies.

INSECOGO® Worldwide Search & Executive Consultants GmbH uses suitable technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unintentional or intended falsification, destruction, loss or access by unauthorised persons. Access to your personal data is restricted to those employees of INSECOGO® Worldwide Search & Executive Consultants GmbH who need to process this data and handle it properly and confidentially.

Before passing on your data, outside of projects for which you have applied, to personnel managers - even in anonymous form - the respective consultant will contact you personally.

We will only use your data for the purposes described in this privacy policy; any other use will always be subject to your consent.

You have the right to ask for your personal data, to have them corrected if necessary or to request their deletion. Your data will then be deleted. You can also revoke the permission to use your personal data at any time.

You can revoke this permission by sending an e-mail to: privacy@insecogo.com

11. Safety instructions

We assure you that we store your personal data with the help of all technical and organizational possibilities in such a way that they are not accessible to third parties. We cannot guarantee complete data security when communicating by e-mail, so we recommend that you send confidential information by post.
