James Brigham studied mechanical engineering at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh/USA, and holds a Bachelor of Science. He also has a Master of Business Administration from the LUISS Guido Carli School of Management in Rome/Italy.
He has over 30 years of experience in operational management positions and as a strategic management consultant, particularly in driving operational improvements in international industrial companies.
James Brigham began his career in manufacturing with Westinghouse Electric Corporation in the United States before moving to Europe to work for Philips Electric Corporation in supply chain management in the Netherlands, Germany and Italy. He then joined CTM (now Altromercato), the largest Italian alternative trading company, where he managed the purchasing and import team.
After graduating from the MBA in Rome, he joined the Operations Management Consulting Practice of Arthur D. Little, where he spent the next eight years leading operational improvement projects in Italy and across Europe.
Upon returning to industry, he then held various management positions in manufacturing and supply chain at AGCO Corporation (Schaffhausen/Switzerland), Welbilt Corporation (Tampa/Florida) and CNH Industrial (Turin/Italy). These roles were focused on defining and implementing global manufacturing and supply chain strategies through cross-functional and international teams.
James Brigham has worked in different cultures and languages. This enables him to achieve effective and long-term positive results for his clients across functional and cultural/linguistic boundaries.
