Erick Becerra is a marine biologist with in-depth knowledge in the areas of Ecology, Natural Resource Management and Sustainable Development. He holds a master's degree in Ecology as well as Coastal and Marine Management from the University of Guadalajara in Mexico, a master's degree in Business Management from the ESDEN Business School in Madrid/Spain, and a bachelor's degree in Marine Biology from the University of Guadalajara.
A major focus of his professional career is in the areas of ecology, environmental research, project management of sustainable projects and social engagement. Another focus is on coastal regions and the sectors of industry, services such as tourism and public enterprises.
He has successfully managed projects in areas such as water and waste management, environmental impact assessment and reduction of the carbon footprint. He is an expert in data analysis techniques and software, including R and GIS, and has extensive experience in conducting research, analysing data and presenting results to diverse target groups.
