Eimantas Sinkevicius studied business administration at VilniusTech in Lithuania and graduated with a bachelor's degree. He also earned an Executive MBA from the Baltic Management Institute in Vilnius/Brussels.
After graduating, he began his professional career as a Project Manager at the Lithuanian Business Development Agency, where he was responsible for evaluating and implementing corporate financing for the allocation of EU subsidies.
He then took on a new challenge as a Lean Consultant at Danske Bank Global Business Services Lithuania, where he drove Lean transformations, saved at least 20% of human resources, implemented fundamental Lean tools and developed into a Senior Lean Consultant.
Eimantas Sinkevicius then became Head of Process Development and Automation at the Lithuanian Energy Business Support Centre, a Lithuanian energy holding company with around 5,000 employees. During this time, he designed and implemented operational excellence programmes in 6 of the holding company's 22 companies, realised automation solutions (robotic process automation/RPA, IPA, etc.), implemented customer journey mapping projects and further developed 6 Sigma tools (incident reporting).
He then took on a new challenge as Continuous Improvement Manager at Yara European Business Services, where he was a member of the management team and built up a team of 25 specialists, gradually developing a culture of continuous improvement. His other achievements include the development of a training centre and the introduction of an HSEQ (Health, Safety, Environment and Quality) management system. He went on to become Director of Operational Excellence Europe at Yara International (approx. 4,000 employees), where he was responsible for transforming the value chain (sales, supply chain, finance, etc.) in the operating and service units in Europe. He also introduced internal training courses on change management and growth mindset.
Eimantas Sinkevicius holds a Project Management Professional certification from the Project Management Institute, a Six Sigma Black Belt certification from the Management and Strategy Institute, and an Adize Integrator certification from the Adizes Institute Worldwide. He also holds a Group, Team and System Coaching certification from Coaching Development LTD.
His extensive experience now also includes working as a freelance Business and Management Consultant for Lithuanian companies (SMEs and start-ups), Lithuanian ministries, authorities, schools and the Vilnius University. His consulting services cover strategy development and implementation, business performance & lean management implementation, process optimisation, customer journey mapping, project management and organisational coaching. In addition, he shares his knowledge as a speaker on the topic of ‘Operational Excellence’ at Global Opex Summits.
