Djuned Wikanto studied chemical engineering at the Gadjah Mada University in Yogyakarta, Indonesia, and is now once again a guest lecturer at the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Negeri Yogyakarta on the subject of chemical reactors.
In the more than 25 years since graduating, Djuned Wikanto has gained extensive experience, particularly in the electronics manufacturing, automotive and supplier, semiconductor as well as the food and beverage sectors. In the process, he developed from an SAP Business Process Manager and Project Manager to a Plant Manager, Chief Operating Officer as well as Head of Corporate Strategy and Management Systems.
His responsibilities included, among other things, the introduction of lean management, the development of new business areas with new customers and repeatedly achieving key performance indicators for safety, productivity, quality, costs and morale in production.
He also completed the Toyota AOTS (Association for Overseas Technical Scholarship) programme in Nagoya, Japan, and implemented a specific system of the Toyota Production System (TPS) in the areas of engineering, production, quality, supply chain and IT at Toyota Motor Manufacturing.
He then introduced TPS (Lean Management) with significant results in various industries and company sizes, from small businesses and family-owned companies to multinational corporations such as the Adyawinsa Group and the Suzuki Motor Corporation.
Djuned Wikanto is a highly qualified consultant and project manager with a wealth of experience in solutions in the areas of lean and process management, as well as in the management of teams and large organisational units.
