Branka Zlatkov holds a master's degree in economics with a focus on finance and accounting from the University of Zagreb in Croatia. She has also participated in various specialist seminars at the IEDC in Bled/Slovenia and at the International Training Centre in Louveciennes/France, and completed the MDP Leadership Programme at the renowned CBA Cotrugli Business School in Croatia as well as the Change Management Programme at Capgemini in Austria. She subsequently worked as a guest lecturer at Capgemini. She speaks English and French, as well as her native Croatian.
Branka Zlatkov is a consultant with extensive international experience in corporate management, start-ups, business development, mergers & acquisitions as well as in development and implementation of sales strategies in the banking and financial services, biotechnology and international consulting sectors.
During her around 12-year career in the banking and financial services sector, she has successfully completed numerous projects, particularly in the areas of strategy and change management, reorganisation, risk management and corporate governance, as well as rebranding and customer relationship management. She has also been involved in the establishment of several new subsidiaries. She progressed from Executive Assistant at BNP Paribas Dresdner Bank (Croatia) d.d. in the Corporate Customers Department, to Deputy General Manager at Prvi Faktor d.o.o. in the factoring business area and Assistant Senior Executive Director at Hrvatska Poštanska Banka d.d. (Croatian Post Bank) in the Corporate Banking Division, to Head of CORPS at Société Générale, where she established the Risk Management Department with 50 employees, for example.
In her subsequent 7-year career in biotechnology, Branka Zlatkov was first a Management Consultant at Zagreb Biotek d.o.o., supporting the start-up from the creation of business plans, company formation, market launch and commercialisation to negotiations with potential investors. As Executive Director of GlycanAge, she was then responsible in particular for corporate management, business plans, pitch decks for investors and the development of activities in Croatia and the United Kingdom.
Finally, she worked in international consulting as a Managing Consultant at Capgemini in Austria in areas including project management and the preparation of the World Retail Banking Report, and as a Management Consultant at Alexander Hughes in Zagreb, where she focused on executive search for specialists and managers, talent management and auditing, as well as the preparation and delivery of seminars on strategy and risk management.
