Stanley Ngcobo holds a Master's degree in Business Administration with a specialisation in Leadership & Finance from the Management College of South Africa (MANCOSA), as well as two Bachelor of Arts degrees from the University of Zululand in South Africa, one in Industrial Psychology & Communication Science and another (with honours) in Industrial Psychology. He also holds two diplomas from the Business School of the University of Stellenbosch in South Africa, one in Strategic Human Resources Management and another in Strategic Leadership & Management Development.

He began his professional career after completing his first university degrees as a Senior Communications Officer at a government agency for communications and information, and then as National Public Affairs Manager at Total Oil SA. In both roles, he was responsible in particular for developing and implementing communications strategies, media relations and crisis communications to improve the public image of the respective organisation and to increase the effectiveness of internal and external communications.

The next step in his career led him to HR management, where he became Senior HR Consultant & Psychometrist at Telkom SA, responsible in particular for organising and conducting assessments, internal assessment consulting and psychometric candidate evaluations. He continued his development in HR management, first becoming Regional Human Resources Manager and then Group Talent Management Specialist, both at the Nedbank Group.

As his expertise grew, Stanley Ngcobo also took on increasing management responsibilities. He became Senior Human Resources Development Manager at Ithala Development Financial Corporation (IDFC), Head of Human Capital in the Retail Division of the Sanlam Group and finally Organizational Development Specialist at the Momentum-Metropolitan Group, responsible for talent and performance management for over 5,000 employees, including talent identification and psychometric (executive) assessments, performance appraisals, talent resp. executive development and succession planning, change management as well as the promotion of leadership and cultural measures. Over the course of more than 25 years, he has developed into a top HR expert with extensive leadership experience.

He is a certified strategic HR Leader from the Academy to Innovate HR, a certified Talent Economist from People-Lens Global Associates, as well as a full member of the South African Board for People Practices (SABPP), the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) and the Society for Industrial & Organisational Psychology of South Africa (SIOPSA).
