Sourabh Singh is an expert in customer success. He is a highly experienced professional and manager and has worked for renowned companies as well as being on the advisory board of several start-ups such as Voila Joie: one of India's top luxury concierge organisations, has won awards such as Fastest Growing Companies in Asia (Red Herring), Top 15 Startups (Economic Times) and Entrepreneurs Disrupting their Industry (CNBC).
He is a graduate of Hansraj College, University of Delhi, where he obtained a Bachelor of Commerce with Honours, and holds an MBA in Finance and Marketing from the ICFAI Business School in Gurgaon.
Sourabh is a very keen individual who takes every opportunity that comes his way to expand his knowledge and learn about the latest industry trends and practices. Even before his Master, he started his career in the sales and development department of a national political magazine, and with his growing knowledge of marketing, business and strategy development, he progressed to a leadership position in the company.
After completing his MBA, while the markets were still in the sub-prime crisis, he was given the opportunity as a Dedicated Lifestyle Manager at a leading UK luxury lifestyle concierge company (Quintessentially Group) and quickly developed into an Elite Lifestyle Manager. He even received media attention for his work and, for example, was featured in Business World newspaper.
He then moved to American Express as Team Leader, was responsible for the introduction of the Amex Centurion card in India − from conception to training processes to onboarding of the most important vendors and partners, etc. − and as Senior Team Leader successfully developed a team from 10 to over 30 consultants in a period of 3 years.
As a new challenge, he then chose to work as Vice President Customer Experience for a Bengaluru-based sports tourism company, where he developed the markets inside and outside India.
For Sourabh, customers come first. He is convinced that good customer service is an essential key element for stable, very good customer relationships and therefore for the long-term success of any company. To achieve this success, he is happy to go the extra mile and is effectively involved in the recruitment of staff for key positions, in training programmes and − if necessary − in resolving difficult customer relationships.
