Robert Sadowski holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, specialising in Vehicle Operation & Maintenance, as well as a Master’s Degree in Logistics & Transport Technology, both from the Warsaw University of Technology in Poland. He also holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the Quantic Business School of Technology in Washington/USA.
He began his professional career as a Technician and Freight Forwarder in the logistics and transport sector. During this time, he gained a comprehensive grounding through roles at several companies and was responsible, e.g., for technical support and logistics planning, optimising transport routes, reducing delivery times, as well as transport across Europe and Asia. In the further course of his career, he progressed to become Head of Transport & Freight Forwarding, with extensive responsibility for all shipment and transport operations, as well as the optimisation of logistics processes.
Robert Sadowski subsequently decided to independently establish and run start-ups in the logistics and transport sector with up to 120 employees. As an Entrepreneur, he managed the entire logistics and transport business, developed specialised logistics solutions for the aerospace and defence industries, as well as led successful process optimisations and restructurings. Furthermore, he successfully managed a large number of humanitarian aid deliveries to conflict zones (Ukraine, Iraq, Tanzania, etc.), including ensuring the efficient distribution of goods on the ground, right through to difficult environments such as the Sahara, Siberia, Mount Everest and Mount Kilimanjaro.
He has taught at Akkon University in Berlin/Germany as well as at the International College of Logistics in Wrocław/Poland, and has presented his ideas as a Speaker at events such as TEDx in Boston and Washington, USA, as well as in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. He is also a highly engaged individual; among other things, he was a participant in the EU ‘WeTransform’ project in the transport sector, is active in the ‘Creative Society’ social movement, volunteers for a home hospice, and raises funds for children, people with disabilities and hospices.
