Dr. Abdulrhman Ahmed Aldndl holds a Master’s Degree in Economics and Planning from the Aleppo University in Syria and a PhD in Financial and Monetary Policy Strategies from the Damascus University in Syria.
After completing his Master's Degree, he began his professional career as a Crisis Advisor for the IRC (International Rescue Committee) and for international NGOs in Syria within the humanitarian sector, where he was responsible in particular for providing advice in crisis zones, rebuilding economic infrastructure, negotiating with local de facto authorities, as well as supporting more than 10,000 people affected by the war. Subsequently, he worked as a Governance Consultant & Senior Trainer for UNRWA (United Nations Relief & Works Agency) and the Paris School of Business in Syria within the public sector, with particular responsibility for leading governance reform initiatives, developing and implementing academic excellence on the ground, as well as supervising DBA dissertations and providing career guidance.
In the next stage of his career, Dr. Abdulrhman Aldndl decided to take up a role as HR Manager at the Al-Waely Foundation in Iraq within the healthcare sector, where he was responsible in particular for leading the foundation’s strategic HR restructuring, the group’s five-year plan, performance systems and metrics, as well as the development of a culture of motivation. He subsequently became Executive Director of the Warith Academy for Healthcare Leadership in Iraq, also within the healthcare sector. In this role, he was responsible in particular for managing an academy with more than 4,000 employees in a volatile environment with limited resources, for the certification of over 600 healthcare executives, as well as for the training of over 2,700 trainees on AI-supported learning platforms.
After more than 10 years of qualified cross-functional and cross-sector experiences, he decided to work as a Consultant and Trainer in the EU and MENA (Middle East & North Africa) regions. His successes include, for example, training over 2,000 professionals (in strategic leadership, governance and human resources), the development of national SME strategies and the leadership of NGO governance reform supported by the UNDP (United Nations Development Programme), the development of over 30 academic programmes in line with the European (EQF) and the UK Qualifications Framework (EduQual), the EU-wide recognition of qualifications through ECVET, EQF, FSEA and global partnerships, as well as the design of a ‘Digital-First HR Lifecycle’ for distance learning lecturers.
As a consultant, he also holds a number of high-calibre qualifications, such as certification in Project Management for Development Professionals from APMG International/UK, certification in Advanced Six Sigma from the University of Georgia/USA, certification in Risk & Change Management from the University of California/USA, certification in Digital Governance/Transformation Strategies from Erasmus University Rotterdam/Netherlands, as well as certification in Generative AI for Leaders/AI Strategic Integration from Vanderbilt University/USA.
