He began his professional career at Schlumberger, a global company operating in more than 100 countries in the field of innovative energy technologies. As a Field Supervisor & Team Leader in the energy, oil and gas sector in Saudi Arabia, he was specifically responsible for managing field teams, technical supervision, smart completion installations, well interventions, service quality, operational discipline and customer satisfaction.
He then moved to Baker Hughes, a global company operating in more than 120 countries in the fields of oilfield services, industrial and energy technology. As General Field Supervisor in the energy, oil and gas sector in Saudi Arabia, he was responsible for overseeing work in the areas of smart, upper and lower completions for offshore and onshore projects. Over time, he took on increasingly comprehensive leadership roles and became Operations & Technical Interface Lead, responsible in particular for the entire lifecycle of smart completions projects – from pre-project review and simulation through implementation to post-project evaluation, managing the technical and operational interface for projects in the field of smart completions and well intervention, coordinating and leading teams (engineering, field operations and client teams, e.g. from Saudi Aramco), and much more.
Under his leadership, savings of 4.2 million US dollars were achieved through the optimisation of the well de-completion process, significant improvements in operational times through enhanced tool design, as well as optimised deployment planning and support for real-time execution, reducing the time required from 720 to 44 hours. His achievements were presented at SPE/ICOTA 2025.
