The Corona crisis has lasting effects on the corporate culture. Many individuals will have to find themselves again after the crisis. Companies will feel similar effects. Many cuts have changed the daily life in the company. According to a recent Trendence study, 57.6% of employees lack personal interaction with colleagues. The widespread phenomenon of presence culture will also be reassessed after the Corona crisis. With a view to the current emotional situation, 54.2 % of those surveyed already assume that Corona will cause a loss of importance of the culture of presence in companies. Here, HRM can make preparations especially in times of crisis and use positive effects of the current situation for the time after the crisis. One idea is: open virtual rooms that are accessible all day long. Everyone can log in from anywhere at any time and meet colleagues from the company. Even those employees who go to the office despite the crisis could be brought from the real to the "virtual" coffee kitchen using an online terminal.
